TraderForum – A Private, Collaborative Consortium of Trading Professionals
At three core meetings throughout the year, members experience unparalleled interaction with their network of peers and industry-leading panelists through round-table discussions, plenary sessions and collaborative workshops. Because brokers and vendors are not eligible to join, members enjoy private, off-the-record contact with other buy-side asset managers – ranging from some of the world’s largest fund complexes and institutional mangers, to hedge funds, public funds and investment boutiques.
Member-Driven Content with Unbiased, High-Level Insigh
TraderForum’s high-value membership features open access to conferences, proprietary research and surveys that present an independent, impartial perspective on the industry as a whole. Weekly polls, a password-protected, interactive website, issue-specific conference calls, journal subscriptions and several high-level research studies conducted annually provide members with invaluable tools to both measure themselves against their peers and gain new advantages in a highly competitive landscape.
Members actively assist in shaping the structure of conferences and meetings, assuring that topics covered are both relevant and objective. Additionally, TraderForum’s dedicated staff, led by Director and conference moderator Michael O’Reilly, prides itself on a strident commitment to impartiality and professionalism.
Proprietary Research & Surveys
From annual studies, including a Benchmarking Survey, which tracks the trends and operating structure of buyside trading departments and a Compensation Survey, which presents the range of annual earnings packages among member trading firms, to regularly scheduled TFQs, ad hoc reports and meeting recaps, Trader Forum’s proprietary research and surveys offer members access to key learnings that help address pressing industry issues.
Meetings at a Glance
In addition to several impromptu gatherings that take place regionally, TraderForum hosts three annual membership meetings and one sponsored summit throughout the year– the Fall Workshop, Winter Workshop, Annual Conference and Equity Trading Summit.
