Defined Contribution Institute - Half Moon Bay 2019

Date - To be confirmed
The Ritz-Carlton
Half Moon Bay, CA (San Francisco)
It’s About Retirement. Period.

This year's Defined Contribution Symposium will thus focus on the core issue of retirement itself - whether you believe the central theme of the discussion is “retirement income”, “retirement solutions”, “retirement preparedness” or some other facet. From new ideas on retirement income and providing useable annuities to ensuring retirement readiness for plan participants, we will delve into how plan sponsors and participants can discern between the relevant and the extraneous so that we can chart a path out of the currently unknown and deliver the opportunity for the staunch and reliable retirement that your participants want and deserve.

  • A new look at retirement income solutions, whether it's a re-evaluation of existing options to a hard look towards the future.
  • Striving for a more holistic participant communications system to fully assuage the fears and instill confidence during the decumulation phase.
  • How the right decisions by you when it comes to all the different cogs in the DC machine, from financial wellness, plan investment lineup to plan design, can fit together to contribute toward solving the retirement income conundrum.

2019 Advisory Board

Institute for Defined Contribution was created to serve DC plan sponsors, and we rely upon an Advisory Board of plan sponsors to help conceptualize and guide each event’s agenda. We sincerely thank this year’s Advisory Board as well as everyone who has provided — and will continue to provide — input to ensure that the topics we are addressing are current, practical, and pertinent.
