Defined Contribution Institute - Virtual Chicago 2021

May 19th - May 20th 2021
12:00 to 2:30pm EST
Virtual Conference
2021: A Retirement Odyssey - Identifying and Serving Participants at Every Stage of Their Lifetime Journey

Kicking off the DC Institute's 2021 calendar of events of defined contribution plan sponsors, our Virtual Chicago Forum will take attendees on a chronological journey of a participant's career and lifetime journey. By dissecting and analyzing each significant stage of a participant's journey towards retirement, we aim to evaluate the unique challenges facing different age and demographic cohorts, and what plan sponsors should note and prepare for.

Topics range from onboarding and engaging with millennials, devising new communication techniques for a new generation of participants, devising financial wellness programs from the beginning of one's retirement journey, rebalancing investment portfolios and strategies as one's career progresses, tax and healthcare concerns for near-retirees, and finally to the all-important topic of post-retirement income solutions and decumulation.

We hope to see you virtually in May and join us on this journey as we delve in the various problems and solutions throughout a typical participant's life journey, and utilize these lessons learned for your plans on a macro level.

2021 Advisory Board

The Defined Contribution Institute was created to serve DC plan sponsors, and we rely upon an Advisory Board of plan sponsors to help conceptualize and guide each event’s agenda. We sincerely thank this year’s Advisory Board as well as everyone who has provided — and will continue to provide — input to ensure that the topics we are addressing are current, practical, and pertinent.
