All-Japan Executive Team Most Honored Companies Awards celebrates the Japan Companies who ranked at the top of our All-Japan Executive Team ranking for their corporate leadership and investor relations expertise as voted on by the buy- and sell-side analyst community.

Japan’s Most Honored Companies will be honored and awarded at a dinner and ceremony on Wednesday, Nov 14, 2018 at the Shangri-la hotel in Tokyo. We hope you'll join us for a fun night of networking and celebration.

Methodology

Every year, Institutional Investor administers a survey to the most influential buy-side and sell-side analysts regarding to companies’ executive teams and investor relations programs in Japan, the U.S, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. We also supplement this information with the views and opinions of investor relations professionals themselves The results are our regional Executive Team Rankings, which provide unmatched and comprehensive information about specific companies’ investor relations programs.

Portfolio managers and sell-side analysts nominated a total of 838 companies in this year's All-Japan Executive Team rankings. 148 companies received a first, second or third place ranking in one or more of the following categories: Best CEO, CFO, IR Professional and IR Program. Of those, 82 were named Japan's Most Honored Companies for achieving two or more published positions in the combined (buy-side and sell-side) rankings. Rank order is determined by those with the highest weighted score; first-place positions receive four points, second place receives three, third place receives two and fourth place receives one.
