There is no getting away from the fact that the emerging markets have been resilient through some tough times in the past couple of years and the trends are truly reshaping when it comes to EMs in 2022. We look forward to discussing some of the key opportunities and risks in different regions. 2021 was a challenging year for EMs and with continued inflation risk, rising interest rates, geopolitical situations – what does 2022 hold for emerging markets? Investors are looking to explore the future in China with government newer regulations and common propriety objectives – there is no getting away from China but how to tap the existing and hidden opportunities is the big question. LATAM and Frontier markets remain untapped and investors are looking to discuss more on how to access opportunities amid the rough macroeconomic environment in these regions. Some major topics of interest also include, Public vs private markets, EM equities and EMD and different sectors including technology, infrastructure and healthcare taking the lead.
