Sustainable Returns: Environment, Social & Responsible Investing

The rise of ESG investing in allocators’ portfolios continues to outpace that of most other active strategies. And institutional investors are not the only ones taking notice. Underlying plan participants and stakeholders are demanding more transparency and accountability around investments. That trend is only predicted to increase as the coming decades will see millennials projected to control $30 trillion of investable assets. This one-day summit will allow investors to explore environmental, social and governance investing from various viewpoints.

  • If data is the new oil, do companies like Facebook belong in an ESG portfolio? What role will protection of privacy and data play in ESG ratings?
  • What role can traditional companies play in sustainable energy needs of the future?
  • What are the best ratings and benchmarks used to screen companies and portfolios for ESG qualifications? What other criteria might asset owners look to?
  • Where do ESG allocations fit into an overall asset allocation strategy?

We will explore this and more at Institutional Investor’s Inaugural Sustainable Returns: Environmental, Social and Governance Investing Forum.
